What do we do?

An infant feeding therapist is like a lactation consultant with additional education and training on baby’s end! We know what needs to happen on the parent’s end and baby’s end to make feeding easier for everyone, We work with breast, bottle, and combo-feeding families AND we can work with you as baby transitions to table food.

Treatment Approach May Include:

  • Oral stretches and exercises

  • Suck training

  • Parent education and consulting

  • Latch and positioning modifications

  • Meal time or infant feeding schedule recommendations

  • Referral to other specialists as needed (e.g., ENT, tie release provider)

  • Prenatal coaching session: One time virtual visit with one or our experts to answer all your questions, plan for baby’s arrival, and teach you everything you need to know to get baby fed. Our “First Days Guide” handouts are also included

  • Individual troubleshooting coaching session: Meet with our dual certified infant feeding therapist/lactation counselors virtually to get all the support you need (includes text support for 7 days after the visit
